I have broad experience as a writer and strategist, working across many industries and fields, including healthcare, consumer products, financial services, technology, social services, public affairs and philanthropy.
Clients have included Pfizer, PepsiCo, J&J, GE, Merck, IBM, Citibank and Unilever, as well as small niche players, and such leading non-profit organizations as the Forest Stewardship Council, the Rockefeller Bros. Fund, the Annie E. Casey Foundation, Save the Children and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I've also written for major medical centers, including the NYU Cancer Institute, Montefiore Medical Center, and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Assignments range from executive speeches and annual and sustainability reports to web content and video scripts to articles, white papers, and newsletters, as well as marketing campaigns and comprehensive communication strategies.
I'm an adjunct instructor at NYU, where I teach a course in marketing communications writing, and I have developed half- and full-day effective writing workshops for corporate and non-profit groups. I've also been trained as a literacy tutor for ESOL students.
Before launching my business, I served three Fortune 500 companies in senior corporate communication positions, and I was an account supervisor with Burson-Marsteller, one of the largest public relations agencies in the world.
Specialties: I have deep experience writing about issues in the biomedical and global health fields through my work with major pharmaceutical and biotech companies and non-profit organizations engaged in healthcare. I also have written extensively about environmental concerns, corporate social responsibility and advocacy.
