Joe Miller is a senior public relations consultant with expertise in corporate reputation management; business and financial media relations; investor relations; issues and crisis management; and corporate and executive positioning.
His background includes significant work in financial services (for corporations including LPL Financial, Bank of America, Citigroup, Ford Credit and Liquidnet) and telecommunications (Sprint Nextel, XO Communications) as well as broad range other industries. He has led major public and/or investor relations programs for the McGraw-Hill Companies, the Durst Organization and Asbury Automotive, among others.
During Joe’s six-plus years working for Bank of America both on the agency side (with the Ruder Finn Group) and later internally, he worked closely with the bank’s CEO and CFO on a range of business issues critical to the corporation’s reputation on both Wall Street and Main Street.
His knowledge of the financial markets, as well as potential issues and crises related to market conditions, applies to a broad range of industries, especially in this current economic environment. He has also developed and executed highly visible consumer PR programs closely integrated with brand and product marketing strategy, including Bank of America and NBC Universal’s Democracy Plaza in New York City’s Rockefeller Center.
Joe is a graduate of Bates College, and splits his time between Colorado, Vermont and New York City.
