He has experience across multiple industries: CPG, food/beverage, retail, healthcare, hospitality, technology, transportaiton, insurance, professional and financial services.
He previously held leadership positions at the Chicago offices of Ogilvy, Porter Novelli and Ketchum and served as a senior communications advisor to McDonald's Corporation. He established Dixon|James Communications in 2010.
Jim is best known for his work with McDonald's (managing through consumer issues negatively affecting its corporate reputation), P&G, Wendy's (establishing Founder Dave Thomas as a cultural icon and patron saint of adoption), Miller Brewing Company, Lions Clubs International (global branding campaign on Lions' efforts to conquer blindness) and many successful change initiatives for McDonald's, BMO Harris and others.
