For over 30 years, Stuart Rowlands PR (SRPR) has been proud to develop public relations, publicity programs and events for both major corporations and small businesses.
SRPR was founded in London, where Stuart managed publicity and public relations for music acts and record companies, including Tom Jones, Rod Stewart, Spencer Davis, Jimmy Cliff, Traffic, Decca Records and Island Records. Soon after, he represented the Ghana government, including Ghana Airways and Ghana Export Board, as well as the Playboy Club.
In 1974, Mr. Rowlands moved to the U.S. and was hired as Vice President of Saltman & Flood PR Agency in Los Angeles. As a Vice President of Client Relations he represented more than a dozen TV series and sporting events including the Ali-Frazier heavyweight fights, the Andy Williams show and the San Diego Open. He left the agency four years later to join Trans World International (TWI), which at that time was the world’s largest independent producer of sports programming for television. Two years later he was promoted to Director of International Publicity for TWI’s parent company IMG, based at their worldwide headquarters in Cleveland where he focused on event coordination for such clients as Wimbledon, player participation in the British Open, the US Ski team and the US PGA Tour.
