{"modal":{"name":"case-modal","html":"<div class=\"ui-modal\" data-remodal-id=\"case-modal\">\n\t\t<h2 class=\"ui-page-title small\">IFS Institute Case Study<\/h2>\n\t<div class=\"static-page\">\n\t\t<div class=\"ui-editor-content\"><p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/ifs-institute.com\/\">IFS Institute<\/a> is an international training and certification organization dedicated to the transformative psychotherapy model Internal Family Systems (IFS).&nbsp; <span style=\"color: #414143;\">The mission of IFS Institute is to bring more Self leadership to the world&nbsp;by providing IFS training for professionals, and international learning opportunities for those exploring personal growth through IFS.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">In 2019, leadership came to us with a serious, but wonderful problem. They were offering a product that was increasingly popular on the international stage, and it was selling faster than production could support.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">The bottom line was they were functioning in total chaos.&nbsp;The staff was &lsquo;chipping in to solve problems&rsquo; with the best of intentions, and nobody knew where the gates of responsibility were. In other words, toes were getting stepped on because the team was overwhelmed.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Overwhelm is a problem that happens quite frequently, and usually due to one of several reasons.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<ol style=\"color: #000000;\">\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\"><em>The business has scaled and the number of resources they have available to them has overwhelmed their processes.<\/em><\/span><\/li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\"><em>The organization has been run as a &lsquo;family business&rsquo; and they don&rsquo;t know how to mature while maintaining the culture that has pleased the team up to this point.<\/em><\/span><\/li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\"><em>Unanticipated events have forced a transition that the ecosystem was not prepared for and cannot withstand.<\/em><\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Any one of these reasons, much less a combination, can create uncertainty, anxiety, and overwhelm from the leadership level to the staff.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">For example, who among us didn&rsquo;t have serious concerns about the &lsquo;work-from-home&rsquo; transition during the pandemic? Very few businesses were prepared for such a drastic shift in workflow, process, and productivity. And though many of those small businesses have weathered the storm, the majority have yet to address the next transition that will cause confusion; the &lsquo;remote-work-hybrid&rsquo;.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">For our client, what started out as a delivery challenge in 2019 morphed into a workflow and bottleneck challenge in 2020, and yet, the root problem was the same and it required a single solution;&nbsp;create clear expectations throughout the entire business.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Our solution had several steps, but each step had the same focus; define success and provide the steps to achieve it.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">As a team, L-12 Services developed a plan to address the issues simultaneously:<\/span><\/p>\r\n<ul style=\"color: #000000;\">\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Perform a communications platform assessment<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Create a communication channel policy<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Moderate departmental focus groups to assess and streamline workflow<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Distribute net promoter surveys on a regular basis<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Update HR document to reflect new policies, reporting structure, and leave<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Develop training for additional sub-contractor support and fast onboarding<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Participate in regular leadership training to support the culture and prevent burnout<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">The outcomes for our client include:<\/span><\/p>\r\n<ul style=\"color: #000000;\">\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">87% retention rate of the original staff<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">International program partnerships that are clearly defined and compliant with internal policy<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Program growth into 5 additional countries in Asia and Africa<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Redistribution of work to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce project rework<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Increased employee satisfaction by 43%<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>"}}
